I was the lead designer for the pitch win relaunching the Wales Rally GB identity for Motorsport UK. The task from Motorsport UK was to reposition and rebrand the event to expand the appeal of arguably motorsport’s best kept secret and introduce the extraordinary sport to wider audiences.
The dynamic rebrand builds on the more traditional ‘Rally of Legends’ positioning of recent years and provides a new platform from which to market and further grow the event. The brand claims ownership of the chequered flag, building an identity within it offers a winning formula.The luminous green is disruptive and packs a punch even at dusk.

The glitch effect demonstrates the electricity and adrenaline in the air, the jolting, sharp shifting motion of the car.
