2022 marks 30 years of the UEFA Champions League. This is a social media campaign capturing the greatest ever, most iconic moments past and present and putting them up against each other to vote. This year gives fans the chance to curate the ultimate Champions League experience. The very best moments in UCL history (as voted by the fans) get drawn into a knockout round of 16 that ties in with the tournament itself. The moments will compete against each other on UEFA.com with the moment that receives the greatest number of votes progressing to the next round, competing all the way until the final when the greatest moment in UCL history will be Crowned.

The design challenge was taking an essence of guidelines, developing and building on it and creating a suite of newly created 30th season specific design brand elements. The outcome being a cohesive, visually exciting look & feel fit for a very unique commemorative year. The timeline became a key graphic device that glued together all the key moments of the past three decades together.
